As you enter, you see these tombs, circles and the statue. A book in the Cursed Abbey warned you to NOT disturb the dead - well, leave the tombs alone. Stand in the right circle, your items should be in your inventory and click on the statue. You can now choose what you wish to keep: Amulet, dagger or the 1-hander sword. I'd save before you click on the statue, in case you're not satisfied with the result coming in the left circle.
